Laminate flooring is produced from high-density fiberboard made from compressed wood fiber which makes it very durable. Since the core material and laminate surface used is of higher quality, it makes it water and scratch resistant.

 It is somewhat sensitive to water and moisture. So, if you plan using laminate flooring at home, you need to make sure that it will remain dry and while cleaning, avoid using a very wet mop. Laminate flooring has 15-30 years warranty time.
